Nafhesa Ali, Project Manager              


Nafhesa Ali is Research Project Manager for the Asian Voices Project. She is also a Researcher within the linguistics department at the University of Huddersfield. Nafhesa has a background in Psychology and worked at St Lukes Hospital for four years before coming to manage the Asian Voices Project at the University. Stephen Dorril, Director of COHR

Stephen Dorril

Stephen Dorril is director of the Oral History Unit at the University of Huddersfield. He lectures on media law and ethics, press history and aspects of film and music. He is also Course Leader for Music journalism and Media and Film Journalism and Media. With a background in investigative journalism, Dorril is an acknowledge expert on the activities and roles of the British security and intelligence services, and has been consultant to a number of national and international television and radio programmes on subjects dealing with intelligence, ranging from MI6, the CIA, Ireland, Harold Wilson, Hungary to Iran. Author of a number of internationally best-selling books, his wide-ranging research interests include the history of the press, Ireland and the relationship between journalists and the intelligence services. He is also Chair of the Holmfirth Film Festival.
